In my Intro to UX/UI course I took in Fall 2024, I was tasked with designing and programming a website using Adobe XD and HTML/CSS. I decided to make something that would serve as a resource for those looking to learn more about the challenges the LGBTQ+ community faces and how they can help. I chose this topic because it is something I take very seriously, and I think it is a very important issue in the world today.

When making this website, I considered my target audience greatly. I wanted it to appeal to both those who are in the LGBTQ+ community/already knowledgeable on these topics, as well as those who may have a loved one in the community and are looking to learn more and support them. With this in mind, I made sure the content of the website was approachable, and the design was easy to use.
