This 8-page zine was created solely in Adobe Photoshop using royalty-free assets and public domain artwork. It follows the story of the poem "La Belle Dame sans Merci" by John Keats, which is a work that is very close to my heart. I printed and assembled a few copies of the design to give to friends, but I have plans to make even more. In addition to the 8 pages, there is also an additional fold-out poster on the opposite side.

It was originally supposed to be hand-drawn, but I realized I'd never complete it to the extent I wanted in that timeframe. I'm glad I decided to make it a digital collage, as I feel it conveyed the feeling of the poem more than my artwork ever could at the time. Doing it that way also spotlights some amazing historical works of art that, by virtue of being public domain, are very old. It is our duty as the next generation of artists to make sure the talent of the old masters is remembered for years to come. This is probably my favorite and most cherished work of art I've ever made in my life.
